About the Event
The client, Goodman Real Estate, hosted their annual awards ceremony at the Federal Way Performing Arts Center. With 200 team members in attendance, this was their biggest celebration of the year—and the expectations were high.

My Role as a Corporate Event Mentalist
For this special evening, I worked closely with the company’s leadership to craft a custom experience. Here’s what I delivered:
Keynote Presentation
The evening opened with a high-energy keynote titled “Performing Under Pressure.” We explored strategies for staying focused, building team trust, and turning anxiety into action—all through a blend of storytelling, psychology, and magic. This was a great way to set the tone for the night: inspiring, practical, and full of surprises.
Emceeing the Awards Ceremony
I had the honor of guiding the audience through the awards portion of the evening, introducing presenters and adding moments of levity between speeches. Awards shows can sometimes drag—my job was to keep things smooth, lively, and celebratory.
Reception Entertainment
To close out the night, I mingled with guests for some intimate, close-up mentalism. These personal moments of astonishment often become the most talked-about parts of the night. Because guests had already seen me on stage, there was instant connection and anticipation.
